The Selby is a project that gives an insider’s view of interesting individuals in their creative and personal spaces.  In 2008, it started out as a website featuring photographs, paintings, and videos by Todd Selby.

Today, the Selby still exists as a website, but the project has grown into a series of books that are beautifully curated and very inspiring! Reading through a Selby book is like entering into another world, capturing the special experience of meeting a person and be welcomed into their home for the first time.

Each creator  in the Selby books is featured through photographs of the individual’s space, likely with them in it, as well as a personal hand-written interview.  The interviews include doodles, sketches, pieces of advice, and fun bits of information. They are always wonderfully fun and inspiring.
