Magic Pony Online Shop : New Design, New Features

Presently, Magic Pony’s primary retail location is now our online shop www.magic-pony.com. We no longer have a shop on Queen Street or in the Design Exchange. Our website now hosts our complete inventory in addition to offering pre-orders and special orders for you. We would love for you to check out and see some of the exciting changes we’ve recently made:

Magic Pony : New Studio

You can still experience Magic Pony in person at our Magic Pony/Narwhal space at 2104 Dundas Street West. We’re open from Tues - Sat 11-6pm. We always have an interesting selection of Magic Pony items on display in our back studio while Narwhal hosts exhibitions in the front space. Narwhal changes exhibitions on a monthly basis, as do the products we showcase in the studio. Although not everything is on display, everything on our webshop is stocked at this location and all items are available for you to view and purchase. This location is also where customers receive any Pick up in Shop orders placed through www.magic-pony.com.

Magic Pony: A Brief History 

Magic Pony, created by Steve Cober and Kristin Weckworth, began as an online shop in 2002 and was Canada’s premiere location for urban vinyl and designer toys. Magic Pony evolved into a brick and mortar shop and gallery on Queen Street West in Toronto from 2003-2014. From 2014-2015 Magic Pony partnered with the Design Exchange Museum in downtown Toronto and created a specialized gift shop for the museum. In February 2015, Magic Pony closed the museum shop and moved into a shared space with Narwhal where it continues to operate as an online shop. Magic Pony currently works closely with artists and designers and offers a choice selection of designer toys, limited edition art prints, accessories and lifestyle items, focusing on exclusive collaborative art multiples and publications. Narwhal : About our Gallery 

Steve Cober and Kristin Weckworth opened Narwhal as an extension of Magic Pony in 2009. Focusing on the exhibition and promotion of contemporary art and design, Narwhal works with local and international artists on art exhibitions, curatorial projects and the production of art multiples. Calling all Creative Animals - Come Visit our New Home!

Join us in our new space to see what’s new in person and enjoy our gallery exhibitions. We can’t think of a better home for Magic Pony’s studio than inside our gallery. Magic Pony was the inspiration for Narwhal and many of our Magic Pony artists such as Junko Mizuno, Souther Salazar, Kozyndan,  and Team Macho continue to work with us through both spaces. We are excited about our growing art family and the new opportunities we will have to make cool things happen with our combined Magic Pony/Narwhal powers.
