Good news, design-lovers! Magic Pony is happy to announce that as of September 2014 we’ll be settling in to our new home at Toronto’s Design Exchange, where we’ll be working as the museum’s permanent gift shop and retail partner.

We first set up shop at DX earlier this year with a pop-up store in February, and since then we’ve fallen in love. Design Exchange is the only museum in Canada exclusively dedicated to preserving and exploring the heritage of design in Canada, and their unique commitment to exploring every side of world of design is something we’re beyond excited to be a part of. We’re especially thrilled about their upcoming exhibition, Politics of Fashion | Fashion of Politics. Curated by style maven Jeanne Beker and DX curator Sara Nickelson, Politics of Fashion explores the ways in which fashion has shaped, changed and been changed by popular culture from the ‘60s to the present. As the museum’s official gift shop, we’ll be offering all kinds of goodies relating to the exhibit as well as our usual treasure trove of amazing toys, art objects, artifacts and more.

We can’t think of a better home for Magic Pony than Design Exchange, and we think you’ll agree. Come visit us at our new home starting this September.
