We fell hopelessly in love with Japan from the first moment we discovered the existence of this magical land. In fact, Magic Pony was created out of the inspiration owners Steve Cober and Kristin Weckworth experienced on a vacation there in 2001. For the past 12 years we have always kept a part of our heart and our shop dedicated to our favourite character and style items from the land of Kawaii and today we want to celebrate the kawaii style capital of the universe: Harajuku! This area of Tokyo is where the bizarre, spooky, cute and crazy are celebrated with enthusiasm. No look is considered too wild. In fact, excess is best!! Growing up in Canada, we don’t often see this kind of liberating dress up and at Magic Pony we’ve always loved and embraced this freedom of expression.

Our current selection of Harajuku fashions includes super cute hair accessories in the shape of stars and hands, tights that transform your legs into bunnies, bears or cats, 6% DOKIDOKI sloth goth magic rainbow prints in tshirts, dresses and jackets, kawaii buttons, amazing Goth and Logo sweatshirts, holographic and schoolgirl chokers, glitter and ping pong filled tote bags, temporary tattoos, and a rainbow of socks sure to make any stocking a little more magical.

For the person on your list who appreciates cosplay, the cute things in life and loves to add magic and humor to their style, our Japanese fashion items would make a perfect gift. Add a little bit of rainbow magic to our Canadian winter! Bonus: most of these items are super limited and only available through our Magic Pony teleporting spells. You can be sure that this is something super unique and one of a kind.

Use the code HARAJUKU until DEC 20th 11:59 PM EST to receive an extra 20% off of all our Japanese fashion pieces in our Japanese Style section.
