Amazing window installation by Morley Shayuk for Magic Pony. Nov 4-Dec 4, 2010. Morley Shayuk re-envisions the symbols associated with a European imperial prototype and offers a pragmatic approach to personal enlightenment by way of The Banners (2008). Slogans and iconography are borrowed and reinterpreted from Historic Doctrines, Trade Union and Brotherhood Societies, as well as The Home Depot. The Banners express an hermetic equation played out by the inhabitants of the Golden Horseshoe.

Morley Shayuk is a self-taught artist from Toronto, working in sculpture, painting and video. He is represented by Paul Petro Contemporary Art.
